Standardized Beach Soccer Rules

1	The field of play is 60 yards long by 40 yards wide.  There is no 18 or 6-yard box.  The goals are regulation size 8 by 24.
2	7 a side with unlimited substitutions.  Substitutions may be made at any time with the knowledge of the referee.
3	Games will be two (2) 20 minute periods with a half time.  Referee will keep all time.
4	Each team must have coordinating shirts.  Only bare feet, socks, or non-molded footwear will be accepted.  Shin guards are allowed.
5	Player(s) committing numerous or hard fouls will be yellow carded and asked to leave the Field for a minimum of two (2) minutes, resulting in his (her) team playing short a player.  The rule is enforced based upon referee discretion.
6	There are no offsides.
7	Goalkeepers will be held to standard FIFA rules except that they are allowed to handle the ball anywhere in his (her) half.  While on his/her own half he/she may throw the ball into the opposing goal.
8	Goal kicks will be place 5 paces from the goal post.  This will be monitored by the referee.
9	All kicks are direct.
10	There is no grace period, unless due to circumstances beyond the team's control.
11	Ties will remain expect where advancement to the next round is needed to be determined.  The following tie-breakers will be used to determine who advance-           a.     Head-to-head           b.     Goals for           c.     Goals against If scores are tied then penalty kicks will be used to determine which team advances.
12	8 points will be awarded when a team does not show up to play.
13	In the unfortunate event of a fight, those who are involved will be red carded and suspended for a minimum of one (1) game.  Players who come off the bench or players who join the fight who were not the original parties involved, will be suspended for the remainder of the tournament.  NO EXCEPTIONS.
14	At no time are you allowed to leave your feet (slide tackle) when attempting to take the ball away.
15	Penalty kicks will be awarded when a player is fouled during a clear scoring opportunity.
16	TOURNAMENT SCORING 6 points for a win 3 points for a tie 0 points for a loss 1 point for a shut-out 1 point per goal up to a maximum of 3 goals 10 points are maximum per game.
